During the Spring of 2018, I had the opportunity to work with Justine Chia, Vivian Liu, and Yuki Zhan to create Social Butterfly - a wearable prototype that encourages activity-based socialization using wings as a medium, capturing the playfulness, confidence, and larger-than-life personality associated with wearing wings.
This project was developed in Critical Making
, a graduate-level New Media course taught at UC Berkeley. With design research as a lens, we envisioned and created future experiences that critically explore social and culturally relevant technological themes.
